Food feeling droll? Try a new bowl

Even if you’re someone who enjoys eating the same menu day in and day out, that doesn’t mean your plating couldn’t do with a cheap makeover.

This square plate and bowl combo can be purchased at WalMart in individual pieces for a song.

A little added panache, and these plates also serve double duty for appetizers, desserts, ethnic or special signature dishes, or for anything your heart desires!

What are you waiting for? Now you can dish it out and take it in style.

    Cleo's back ! yay!

  2. I was just thinking about you last night…. wondering how you're doing. This is a good idea. It's amazing how a little change can add a bit of sparkle to a meal service. I used to do this all the time and I've gotten away from it. I'll have to start paying more attention.

  3. I tried getting them for a song, they stuck their fingers in their ears and had me escorted out of the store! giggle
I agree little changes can make a big difference and in my opinion scrambled eggs should always be served in a bowl, they are comfort food after all.
    Hugs and blessings,

    Hey hey hey!

It's good to see you guys!

I have been beyond swamped the last few weeks with deadlines, getting ready for school and other family obligations. I hope to be back up to speed very very soon.

I was just really excited to actually post something for the first time in how long?

Even if it's a bowl of scrambled eggs…

  11. Hi Cleo!!

I've been following your blog for a while and enjoying your life saver recipes. I'm an enthusiastic low carber from Mexico, and I'm very happy to see this new post on your blog! I do think that there's something about sitting down and eating calmly with nice plates and glasses, like people in Europe do. It's a fantastic time to take it easy and think :-)

  12. Nice to hear from you again! and a great idea. I'm sure WalMart will appreciate it :D
