Our personal favorite. These taste just like Corn Nuts. |
Yea though I walk through the valley of underpants and DVD’s…
Thanks to Blue Diamond striking a deal with WalMart stores nationwide, you can score some gluten free* Nut Thin happiness in the very near future. Blue Diamond Growers, the people who have flawlessly transformed my family from a chip/cracker family, has effectively weaned us off of potatoes and wheat with nut gladness.
Each serving of 16- 2″ the Cheddar Cheese crackers, as an example, contains only 21 net carbs (barely more than one per cracker), so these are a fantastic lunch addition for the kids and a perfect sometimes snack for you. Top with tuna fish (as my daughter does), dip in sour cream or dip, or enjoy on the go in pre-measured serving sizes.
Of course, in addition to the Cheddar Cheese flavor, you can find seven other amazing flavors, including Ranch, Barbecue and Sea Salt (watch some of their products, which contain rice. Check nutrition labels prior to purchase to ensure carb amounts fit into your healthy, whole foods lifestyle).
Even better? Visit their site for a $.50 off coupon to save even more (you will need Java to print the coupon). Addendum: I went to WalMart tonight and didn’t see the crackers yet. Please let me know if you’re finding them.
So when you pull up to the check stand to pay for your groceries, in a cart filled with a Littlest Pet Shop diary, a Men at Work CD and the cat food, you can proudly whip out your boxes of Nut Thins, slap them down on the conveyor belt and proclaim, “Ring me up, oh purveyor of sultry staples!”
And as the cashier side eyes you and wonders what you’ve been inhaling, make sure to let her know that Carbarella sent you.
* Each production run is sampled and tested to confirm gluten levels do not exceed 20PPM.

Wow, what section do you find these in? I'm on my way to Walmart today!
Jamie aka Carbarella says
Hi! They should be in the cracker aisle with the other crackers–but if in doubt, maybe check the nut/snack aisle too.

Sunflower Market has these!
