Stuffed cauliflower crust pizza is a terrific induction treat

I’m down a total of 30 pounds!

I started February 3, so 30 in a month isn’t bad.

Remember to check the “noshes section to see that I am sticking with an extended Atkins 2002 induction and that I am, indeed, using my own recipes to lose this weight.

Atkins is delicious, it is healthy and it is effective.


Please remember, my losses are not usual for a chica of my age. I have a decent metabolism, even without exercise, and I tend to drop a lot of water weight bfore anything else.

Whether you lose a pound a day or a pound a month, if you’re eating a healthy whole foods diet, you’re ahead of the game, so gauge your success appropriately and be thankful for your own journey! I know I have a long way to go.

    Congrats. Just be sure to take vitamins etc. I lost 35 pounds in six weeks once. Unfortunately, it came with hair loss and muscle loss. You are doing well. How much do u weigh now ?

  10. Rotel is not salsa. It's just diced tomato and green chilies in a can. There's also a hot version with more chilies. A lot of people add it to Velvetta to make dip.

    My grocery store keeps it hidden on the top shelf, so just ask an employee where it is at your store.

    Love your recipes and congrats on your loss. I just wanted to reiterate that losing 30 lbs in a month is highly unusual so I hope someone reading this doesn't give up because they aren't losing at that rate.

    So, for anyone who thinks they need to lose faster…If you are losing anything at all you're doing good. And even when you go through periods when you're not losing at all (and you will go through that) you can feel good about yourself because the real bonus is that you're improving your health overall because you are eating healthier, real food. Don't give up and don't forget to drink lots of water.

    I just found your blog while surfing low carb sites. Congrats on your 30lb weight loss. I started induction 3 weeks ago and have also lost a lot – 24lbs. Wasn't expecting that at all! I realize that my next weigh-in may only be a pound or may be nothing but I figure as long as I'm eating healthier, it's all good.

    Sorry for not being more specific re To-Tel. It's sold in the canned tomatoes aisle and it's peppers mixed with tomato. I use it in Mexican dishes. I love it so… Thank you, Group, for giving an explanation!

    granny– You are so right! I do try and try and try again to make sure people know you don't just wake up the next morning a dress size down. There are differences in everyone's metabolisms, beginning weight and makeup that determines speed of loss. Any loss is a good loss.
