If I’d said it was spinach and blueberries you would have laughed yourself out of your chair (and those Twilight bunny slippers). You’ll never even notice the spinach. Fage adds a little bit of kick and thickness (and some fat if you go for the full-fat plain), but can be omitted if you need to watch to keep carbs lower (calculated below).
Blue and Green Smoothie
1/2 cup Fage/Greek Yogurt (Plain, full fat)
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup loosely packed spinach
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/3 cup ice
Blend after adding every two ingredients, adding ice last. Serve cold.

Thank you. Eager to try it.

allergic to almond milk, what are the best alternatives?

Maybe I’m missing something here. I just made this smoothie and though the ingredients are great it is impossible to make anything but a solid mass with only 1/3 cup of liquid in the entire recipe. I added about 4 oz. of water and that did the trick.
