Your emails were going to spam

Have you tried reaching me, only to find I never responded?

That is so unlike me–and for a reason.

I found out this morning that a lot of the mail you were sending me has been going to spam.

I feel really badly about this and will keep checking the spam file from now on.

I’ve responded to all of the emails I could locate this morning. If yours was missed, please feel free to re-send it if– it’s not too much trouble –and I’ll get back with you as soon as possible.

Again, my apologies. I had no idea this was happening.

Now, I’m off to clean the kitchen. I have some terrific recipes for you for next week!

Fondly,
In bacon,
Jamie

  1. Thanks for letting us know. Regardless of what others say, you are such a responsible adult! LOVE. IT. LOL!

    Seriously, you are M-azing!

  2. Uh-huh…sure

  4. Hey Jamie,

I’ve noticed, (I *think*), that you seem to be sending email out differently. Seems like your sending things in two’s, and giving us two changes to see individual posts?

I am appreciating it. I run so fast in my life that I miss things. I saw the creamy spinach soup come by once, and then got pulled into some issue, but when it came by the 2nd time, I grabbed and am going to make it today! Thanks.

My online marketing brain is also wondering if you’re seeing more engagement with your site or with you, one on one, due to this change you’ve implemented. Would love to know if you don’t mind sharing!

    • Hi there! I only send out one email per subscriber (I am also a subscriber, so I am sure only one email is going out).

If you’re receiving two, chances are you could also be subscribing to comments and/or to feedburner as well. I hate getting a lot of emails, so I limit one email per article/recipe per person. If I could, I’d limit to one email per day, regardless of number of articles/recipes that go up on the site.
