What’s the Day Again? (Day 147)

aspen1Time flies so quickly, doesn’t it?

Of course, that can happen when you oh, I don’t know, sleep an entire day away with a pain pill and muscle relaxants (I told you, I’m a lightweight). I mean really. I woke up in as bad a shape as I went to sleep. I’d rather be cogent, productive and working than in bed, sleeping the world away. I have too much to do–and so do you!

Being fabulous requires making some kind of change today, whether it’s to your brain, to yourself, to your family, or to the world around you. It all matters!

That picture is of my hairy doggy before grooming. She rolls in anything, from deer poop to goat heads (pokey seedpods).

I call her Puppy McDup Dup, Queen of the Dups. She also goes by Aspen and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

By the way, it’s only 155 days until summer. Are you ready to make some positive changes?

Remember to shoot for goals and celebrate the positive once you accomplish them. You’re worth the effort.

Now on to how I’ve been doing with my weight loss and continued sussing out of foods to which I’m intolerant or allergic to… Be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled share my progress and thoughts, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top. You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for regular updates.

Wednesday, January 16

I ate this:
Breakfast: olives + cheese + nuts + pepperoni
Lunch: Skipped. Breakfast was late and calorie-dense
Snack: A small handful of popcorn + nuts (mixed and almonds)
Dinner: Cottage cheese + olives + parmesan cheese + sunflower seeds

Notes: My back still hurts, so obviously, I’m not terribly hungry. I am more thirsty than anything, so I’m imbibing. Imbibe, I say!

What I learned:

It is so important to be tolerant of others.

Whether or not we agree with people opposed to our beliefs or thoughts, it is important to remember that if we all thought as the status quo does, we wouldn’t be here. Embrace differences, learn something new, and even when disagreeing with others, stick to the issues and keep personalities out of it. Agree to disagree.

I see so much hate and fear and anger in the world.

Everyone should shut up and eat bacon (and by bacon, I mean whatever they love to eat most).

See? I’m a diplomat.
