Jerky is one of my favorite snacks of all time. If you’re looking for a little extra kick, try this recipe!
Look at the beautiful spices on this meat! It looks like it’s store-bought, but without the unnecessary sugar. I ran the numbers for the recipe with both the balsamic ketchup and the sugar-free ketchup.
Don’t panic when you see the carbohydrate amounts, either. I’ve only calculated for the entire batch (each recipe covers roughly a pound of steak).
Fantastique! Enjoy enjoy enjoy!
Chewy Jerky Marinade
2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos (or soy sauce)
1 Tbsp Balsamic Ketchup (or regular or reduced sugar ketchup)
1 Tbsp Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp fresh milled pepper
Combine ingredients. Smooth onto pounded steak with a barbecue brush. Place in a bag for 3-24 hours to marinate. Dry in a dehydrator until the meat is bendy-crisp.
Makes enough jerky for 2 large slices of steak pounded flat (about a pound).
Per entire recipe with balsamic ketchup: 224 Cals.; 18 g Carbs.; 0 g Fiber; 18 g Net Carbs. ; 0 g Protein; 14 g Fat
Per entire recipe with reduced-sugar ketchup: 184 Cals.; 8 g Carbs.; 0 g Fiber; 8 g Net Carbs. ; 0 g Protein; 14 g Fat

Sorry to ask, but what cut of meat do you use? And then you just pound it super thin? Thanks.
