Low Carb Potato Skins

Do you adore restaurant appetizers like potato skins? Think you’ll never enjoy the feel of starch, bacon and sour cream on your tongue again?

Want to know what makes an amazing substitute for the potato in terms of texture and heftiness?

You might be surprised to find out it’s grand old pal–cauliflower dough. Holla! My cauliflower pizza recipe has been a hit all over these amazingly luscious interwebs!

Now that same general recipe will help you enjoy what you were missing in potato skins!

Recommendation? Make two batches, or you might wish you had. Oh. And swoon over the sofa as you serve these so people know how hard you worked to bring them this bit of paradise.


Like Potato Skins

Cauliflower bread sticks dough recipe
Bacon, crumbled
Cheese, shredded
Sour cream

Make cauliflower bread stick recipe per instructions.

As you can see above, the cheesy beauty that are the bread sticks have just come out of the oven and ooze delicious, bubbly cheese. Simply be sure to let these cool prior to slicing apart to allow the cheese to solidify, load with toppings and serve.

These are perfect plated and topped with sour cream, cheese, bacon, chives and ranch dressing. Better yet, cut each bread stick in half across the width and end up with mini poppers for twice the fun and dipping power.
