How I #FoundMyFit

We are all very busy and we all have plenty of excuses not to work out. I feel like I have plenty of valid excuses but I realize that there is at least 30 minutes a day that I can manage a little workout. I am a very good procrastinator but my high energy little girl will not allow excuses or me dragging my feet. To be a parent you are always having to multitask. I #FoundMyFit over my kids winter break, which was an entire month long!!! I had to keep them occupied and some how get them to burn some of that energy. I had no choice but to get up and go with them. I set a goal to go hiking every single day during the school break. My daughter loved it and her birthday falls over the holiday break and for her 8th birthday she wanted to hike a total of 8 miles, such ambition huh?! I was able to stick to my daily hiking goal for at least 30 minutes a day. I only had an old school pedometer to keep track of my data and my phone as the timer. Now I am learning of these amazing high tech watches that can really help us all! I love that the Fitbit Surge does all of the thinking for me and I can use it for any type pf activity!
