What is the best way to lose abdominal fat?
Belly fat does not discriminate, darn it! Everyone can get it. Scientific studies show that centuries ago this is what helped us survive famine. However, in today’s world extra belly fat is linked to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and other illnesses. It is important to incorporate at least 20 minutes a day of physical activity, walking the dog, gardening, or riding your bike as examples. In addition to being active, the best way to shed this pesky fat is to eat foods that have been proven to trim the waistlines while avoiding those that tend to add padding.
DO: Eat plenty of protein. It may keep abdominal fat cells from bloating and your liver from accumulating fat.
AVOID: Sugary treats. Fructose in table sugar and in high-fructose corn syrup can lead to fat around your middle.
DO: Get enough calcium. Scientist believes calcium may hamper fat storage.
AVOID: Alcohol. Extra liquid calories, whether from wine, beer, or spirits, will add to belly fat.
DO: Eat avocados and olive oil. Consuming monounsaturated fats can reduce fat storage around your midsection.
AVOID: Low fiber carbs. They are more easily digested and lead to more belly fat than high-fiber versions.

Clear and concise.
I went “Wheat Belly” a year ago and lost belly fat (omentun) like crazy! No wheat or related grains (oats, barley) and the weight just literally melted away…45 lbs. I’ll never ingest that stuff again. Quinoa, in limited amounts, is now my best friend as well as fats and protein and lots of good quality vegetables. Worked for me!
That is great to hear! Thank you for sharing 🙂
good stuff. what is your view on legumes?
Legumes are a great source of protein and fiber!
Having a protein drink to help keep my protein up helps but I can also get bloating and gas from it… any tips on help to prevent the gas and bloating?
Does your protein drink have dairy in it? If you have even a slight intolerance to lactose you can get gas and bloating.
