It is not a secret, if it can give you bad breath, I LOVE it! Strong flavors that are certain to give you nasty breath hold a special place in my heart. Garlic. Onions. Anchovies. Stinky cheese.. YUM!
This dish is yummy and you can keep it totally vegetarian or top it with a grilled meat of your choice. Try it out and let me know if you like it!
4 Tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
8 Vidalia onion bulbs (one pound)
1 Tsp kosher salt
1 Tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
3 Tsp freshly chopped cilantro
2 Tsp freshly chopped tarragon
12 heirloom cherry tomatoes (halved)
2 hard boiled eggs (sliced)
2 Tbsp freshly minced chives
Preheat your grill to medium
Rub 1 tbsp EVOO over the onions
Sprinkle evenly with the salt and pepper
Grill about 6 min or until it is well marker and greens are tender, turning occasionally.
Set aside and allow to cool completely
Combine mustard and vinegar into a bowl and whisk
Stir in olive oil, cilantro, tarragon, and remaining salt and pepper
Plate the onions and top with tomatoes
Drizzle the homemade dressing over each salad
Top with sliced egg and minced chives
Chow time!!!

jamie,iwrote u in the middle of the night on a different recipe(frozen yogurt ) dont know if you got it—?do you know anything about fermented caps that r sold at Swanson vitamins or any web site for making your own fermented veg? also they have himalayen salt is that a good thing?
