First I am going to ask for you to please vote for me here: Skinny Scoop and here Leap Fitness. Thank you so so so much!
It means so much to have your support! And, I also appreciate you sharing us with your friends on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.
Well, for me it is really Thursday, but I always publish the next day so that I can keep track of everything I eat legitimately.
Have you had a good week this week? For me, it has been great! I love coming up with new ideas in the kitchen, and I can’t wait to share them, so today and tomorrow I’ll be cooking up a storm, photographing, and sharing everything with you!
I am not loving some of the ideas I’m testing, but you truly never know if something will work unless you test it, right?
Now on to how I’ve been doing with my weight loss and continued sussing out of foods to which I’m intolerant or allergic to… Be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled share my progress and thoughts, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top. You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for regular updates.
Thursday, January 17
I ate this:
Breakfast: 5 grape tomatoes + 10 olives + 1/4 cup mixed nuts
Lunch: CarbMaster Cherry Yogurt + sunflower seeds
Snack: Test bagel recipe
Dinner: New test chicken pizza crust recipe
Notes: I love testing new recipes, but sometimes it forces me to try new foods when I’m not hungry. I hate that aspect of it. I am such a firm believer in natural hunger, and I dislike eating when I’m full. Plus, it tempts me to eat things just because I like them and not for fuel.
What I learned:
I just ate a slice of a new pizza recipe I have to test and I’m not even hungry… Boo!
I wish you could rub foods in your armpits and test them that way, but the last time I did that, the parole officer escorted me out of the building.
I’m kidding.
Maybe.
E-hem. Did you say “Low Carb Bagel”?!
I think I love you.
I did! I am still, lamentably, working on it. It wasn’t quite what I was thinking it would be. Ironically, as I’m typing this, I caught myself wincing in remembrance! Haha!
The contest is through 1/31/13 on Skinny Scoop – so keep voting folks!!

Wow, Maria! You have made such amazing changes, and I am so very proud of you! You are too sweet to give me any credit–you did all the work. I’m just glad I could help! On days like today when I am being reamed with criticism and I start to second guess what I’m doing, it’s really helpful to know I’m okay, and that I am helping.
