My friend Erica on Facebook gave me that title. Love!
Beware: Do recipes on my old Examiner.com column look wrong? Are they incomplete? If so, please be advised that when I left my column there in May, they published ALL recipes, including ones that were never meant to be seen. I had the unfortunate job of telling some readers there that those recipes were not only duds, but they ought never been published. They were hidden for a reason.
All the more reason to stay here for the most recent recipes, right?
I hope you’re planning a happy, healthy Thanksgiving season this year.
As we transition into the chaos of the holidays, remember that happiness doesn’t come from carbs; it comes from making the right decisions based on foods, being educated about your health and taking baby steps. Don’t worry about perfection. It’s all about progress!
Things to be thankful for:
1. Your friend gave her her cranberry sauce recipe and called it bitchsauce, which made you laugh
2. For Christmas CD’s and the scent of vanilla candles
3. Socks
4. Clean socks
5. Socks clean enough to wear twice because the dog stole the rest
6. A husband and son who makes a run to the store the night before Thanksgiving because you forgot the turkey.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
So nice to see your blog. Happy Thanksgiving!
Jamie,
I'll follow you anywhere.
If you post it, they will come.
Love ya!

I'm thankful for dear friends that invited us to Thanksgiving dinner today, and knowing she'll make sure there are low-carb options for us, even though she doesn't do low-carb! (That's love! 🙂

Ive agreed with so many of your other thoughts (eg peeps being too dependent on techie stuff and artificial foods). Just thought I would say hello and try to encourage you to post more.
