This recipe was a total brain bulb I experienced blazing the other day as my brisket steak came out of the crock pot, all stringy and tempting and wonderful. I looked at the brisket. Then I looked at the meat sauce on the stove. Then I looked back to the flank. I looked back to the sauce. Brisket. Sauce. Brisket. Sauce.
A dish of goodness was born.
The recipe is gluten free and induction friendly. Add some green beans to get your veggies in, but be sure to keep those to half of a cup since it’s not a salad vegetable.
I bring you…
Meat spaghetti: Meatghetti
Crock pot brisket
1 pound, cooked hamburger
1.5 cups low carb, no sugar-added tomato sauce*
Aged Parmesan cheese (green can)
Cook brisket in crock pot until strings form.
On the stove, over medium heat, cook hamburger until no pink remains. Add sauce and stir.
Serve brisket on the plate. Add meat sauce. Top with 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese.
Makes six servings.

Oh My meaty goodness! LOL. Cant wait to try this one 🙂
Wow, Jamie, I think you've outdone yourself this time. I would imagine the brisket strings provide a bit of 'bite' that resembles pasta? That's my problem with spaghetti squash…too mushy.
Robyn– it is really nice!
Erica– You've nailed it! It has much more of that "chew" to it like spaghetti. I love spaghetti squash, but it's not as substantial.
I put a roast in the crock pot this morning. It's all nice and stringy. I think I'll have me some Meatghetti tonight. Brilliant!
Ingenious! This looks soooo good! Who'da thunk it!
This is a fabulous idea. I love flank steak.
I might have to start worshiping you. What kind of sacrifice would you prefer? Bacon, bacon or salad veggies?
