Yes, it is National Cheeseburger Day! What??? You did not have that marked on your holiday calendar.. gasp! Well now you know, and it is mandatory to chomp down on a delish cheeseburger tonight, it is a national holiday after all.
I like my cheeseburgers to be topped with bacon, big surprise there! https://yourlighterside.com/2012/05/options-for-lunch-on-the-go/
It is okay if you are vegetarian, y’all can easily celebrate too! You simply use your favorite meat substitute or veggie burger instead of beef to join the carnivores in this celebration. I love portobella burgers and I am a meat eater, so that is saying something! https://yourlighterside.com/2013/06/portobello-burgers/
Do not fret my low carb pets! I know some think.. wait.. I am dieting, a low carb diet at that! Well of course you can use the Oopsie rolls for your bun or another low carb bread of choice, or just nix the bread option all together!
Bottom line, there is no excuse to deprive yourself from the deliciousness of a cheeseburger, no matter the modification you need to make!
What is your favorite cheeseburger concoction? Please share!
Yes, everyday should be burger day…it is definitely the one beef item I never tire of…BBQ’s with onions and cheddar. You do have a winner of an idea there…to be sure.
Regards,
Glad
I’m not a big cheese lover, but love hamburgers. And they aren’t complete without a big slice of fresh tomato. I also add lettuce and bacon. I even added fried egg the last time I cooked my own, and loved it.
