Hello and happy Wednesday! (It is Tuesday for me still, but that is our little secret.)
My husband just returned from Japan and he brought me so many cute things! Aside from himself, I mean.
He brought me a Hello Kitty in a kimono, some Hello Kitty hooks, a Hello Kitty magnet, some cute bento food picks, a cute anime girl that came in a packet on a water bottle he had, and some super cute napkins with smiling squids and shrimp! It’s like he knows me!
He is such a sweetie pie! I think I will keep him forever. Even if he insists I give his pillow back when he comes home from trips (his is comfier, I swear).
I have the Hello Kitty in the kimono on my desk with my other snazzy items, including more Hello Kitty items every professional business woman should have. Am I right?
Now on to how I’ve been doing with our Mid-Year Challenge… Be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled share my progress and thoughts, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top. You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for regular updates.
Tuesday, December 18
I ate this:
Breakfast: Nothing. Skipped because of chocopalooza and the Taco Star linner (lunch + dinner) of amazing vastness
Lunch: green olives + cheese + pepperoni + 1/4 cup mixed nuts
Dinner: Black olives + mixed nuts (I wasn’t hungry tonight, so I grabbed and ran)
Exercise: Does cleaning and running around count?
Notes: The chocolate I got to sample for an upcoming review is SO nice! It is hard, though, to limit chocolate. I did my best, but I know I still overdid it a bit. Still, it was a nice deviation!
What I learned:
I love sampling new products for companies, especially since I know I can continue to lose weight and enjoy trying new things by hard-working people who respect the environment and who try to stay away from GMOs.
Having this freedom also allows me more freedom to experiment with new ingredients for even more, fun recipes to share with you and your families!
I love Hello Kitty!! That was so sweet of your husband to bring you back all of those things. The kimono one is especially cute! 🙂
He really is a sweetheart. I am already using everything but the bento cute schtuffs right at this moment!
Hello Kitty is important because seeing her can remind us that we control our own happiness and can choose to be positive despite our circumstances. ^-.-^ That doesn’t stop my husband from teasing me about my gigantic Hello Kitty key ring.
I must see your ring! I was contemplating some bling bling earrings.
My daughter, Nancy, just went to the Hello Kitty store in Times Square and picked up a bunch of fun things for her friend’s daughter. Hello Kitty cheers up everyone!
I <3 Hello Kitty and Japanese pop culture! That's so cool your hubby was so sweet 🙂
