It doesn’t get much easier than this. There are recipes out there for real ranch dressings, but when it comes down to it, you are too busy being your fabulous selves than fiddle with a lot of ingredients when we’re talking simple condiments. As such, I’ve put together a simple solution to your dressing needs.
While regular ranch dressing comes in at a carb per tablespoon, this recipe comes in at only .25 carbs. Why? Because we’re extending the dressing with mayonnaise.
- Is your dressing too thick? Add water 1/8 tsp at a time until you have achieved an acceptable thickness. The thinner the dressing, the easier it is to toss over veggies evenly in your salad bowl, too!
- Want a fresh taste? Add a tsp of juiced cucumber for a thinner cucumber ranch dressing.
- Adding mayonnaise will also work to extend other dressings.
- This recipe is likely induction friendly, sugar-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian friendly (be sure to read your salad dressing labels if!).
Lazy Ranch Dressing
1 Tbsp Ranch Dressing
3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
Mix and serve. I told you it was easy.
Thank you for my first smile of the day!
I’ve been making this lately! I’ve given up dairy but still wanted something creamy. Really good with pork rinds 🙂
We’re like brain borg! I was totally wanting ranch without the guilt, saw the mayo and was like heyyyyy!
Thanks for making me laugh. This is truly my favorite site to visit. Thanks, Jamie! I am also a homeschooling mom.. Did have 6, but 3 still left at home now. We love your recipes. Keep them coming!
Thanks for your kind words. I love that you took the time to let me know a little about you in a totally cool kind of sharing way (not like me talking about how I like to smear raw garlic all over my fingers and sniff them all day. Oh noes. I did it again). Awkward…
Finally, one that really is easy!!!!!!!
I am all about that kind of easy, Natalie!
