It’s terrific Tuesday, and I’m working at my treadmill desk as I type to you!
We still haven’t had time to complete the project (put the permanent desktop on) because hubby is immersed in work and MBA classes. I am so proud of him and of all of his hard work. I know the project will be finished eventually. In the meantime, this MDF board is just fine. It’s surface is smooth and forgiving if there’s a spill.
Isn’t that cheesecake cute? I used berries to recreate a flag, glazed them, and then took it to enjoy with friends.
Now on to how I’ve been doing with our Mid-Year Challenge… Be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled share my progress and thoughts, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top. You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for regular updates.

I ate this:
Breakfast: Nothing. I had such a huge meal last night, I wasn’t hungry.
Lunch: Sampled some recipes coming soon.
Dinner: Salami + olives + cheese + 1/4 cup mixed nuts
Exercise: Treadmill desk for 2 hours at 1 mph for the win, Alex.
Notes: It feels great to work at my treadmill desk again! After a .25 pound gain this week, I look forward to a decent loss next week. Always a step in the right direction.
What I am thankful for:
At my TOPS groups one of the officers wanted us to journal what we are thankful for every day, so today I am thankful for sunny Colorado.
I have lived a lot of places where the sunshine often didn’t make an appearance, so if I must live somewhere where there is so much snow every year, at least our sun melts it off fairly quickly. Did you know that Colorado is one of the sunniest states in the country?
This makes it easy for me to photograph outdoors, even when there is snow on the ground–and snow makes a terrific reflector, too.
