Greetings to my little luscious cupcake lace-lambs!
Today I am working to get an amazing giveaway posted for Friday for a complete set of the amazing Blendtec Total Blender and the Twister Jar for one lucky winner. I can’t wait! I love mine so much and I want you to have one, too. So be sure you enter! Don’t worry; I will remind you often about it. I am super excited.
I hope you are enjoying this fall weather that is starting to creep in through the edges of summer. I know I want to be outside more and more–and especially when everything begins to go dormant for the season. Less yard work in cool weather? Yes, please.
Now what I had yesterday… First of all, here’s the plan I’m following and here is the introduction post to the Mid-Year Resolution Challenge. While you look at what I’m doing, be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled to give some ideas, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). I am, however, here with you to cheer you on when you’re so skinny you will have to watch slipping through the cushions of your couch.
Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top!
You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for the daily play-by-play and to see what I’m doing. Whee!
Wednesday, October 3
I ate this:
Breakfast: Egg salad with mayo + onion
Lunch: a serving of mixed nuts
Dinner: pepperoni + olives + cheese + grape tomatoes
Exercise: Walked and worked for 2 hours at my treadmill desk at 1 mph.
Notes: It is so breezy I am getting my exercise running around the house propping doors open and weighing down papers so they won’t blow away. I am also having a super NOT hungry day. I think it’s because I’m catching something. Time for C, D, and Zinc.
What I learned:
I have big plans for next summer.
My first order of business: I am throwing out my saggy, baggy swimsuit of at least 4 years. It worked fine while maintaining my former weight, but it’s time to start planning for next summer–and my suit has more bags than a Louis Vitton store.
Now, I won’t hurry out and buy a size I hope to be by then. Who knows what my shape will be or my size. All I know is that ditching the former summer skin means I am all the more excited about next summer’s promises of smaller swimsuits.
Dream big and ditch the big suit.
You will look fantastic next summer……guaranteed! A Vogue cover girl!
By the way, do you know anything or have recipes for hemp hearts….imsaw them at Costco Canada….zero carb….nutritional values are very high! Very interesting!
Regards,
Glad
I am not sure about hemp hearts. I worry about those foods with so much fiber… And those poor little hemps scrambling around the fields without their itty bitty hearts…
You are looking forward to a new bathing suit! I am working towards a leather jacket. I have always wanted one, but couldnt justify the money since I always felt too heavy to have one…and have always wanted to lose the weight. The best thing though is that my husband agreed to buy me one!!!!! YAY
What kind of a leather jacket are you fancying? I used to have a biker leather in college back during my punk rock/batcaver days.
