Today is the beginning of the giveaway posted for a complete set of the amazing Blendtec Total Blender and the Twister Jar for one lucky winner worth over $550. I hope you enter to win–twice!
This week I have been really busy with this second book, but I will be back in full force very soon!
In the mean time, enjoy this bacon.
Now what I had yesterday… First of all, here’s the plan I’m following and here is the introduction post to the Mid-Year Resolution Challenge. While you look at what I’m doing, be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled to give some ideas, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). I am, however, here with you to cheer you on when you’re so skinny you will have to watch slipping through the cushions of your couch.
Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top!
You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for the daily play-by-play and to see what I’m doing. Whee!
Thursday, October 4
I ate this:
Breakfast: Hot dog + mustard + lc ketchup + onions + cheese+ Yogurt + berries + sunflower seeds
Lunch: Brussels Sprouts + baconnaise
Dinner: Hot dog + mustard + lc ketchup + onions + cheese
Snack: Yogurt + berries + sunflower seeds
Exercise: None today! too busy working on another project.
Notes: I think I am getting sick, so I have been taking things a little bit easier.
What I learned:
I have big plans for me.
I really believe if you work hard, do your best, and help others, good things will come to you in return.
It takes some patience, too, but I am very patient.
I gots a question..is this all you eat all day? I eat WAY more than that and this may be my problem!! Please please don’t take it as critical, it’s not in anyway.. I’ve had enough people be critical of what I eat for the both of us…just truly curious.
Love your website and thanks for what you do!
Hi, Amy! I son’t list portion sizes more often than not because I tend to eat intuitively. Sometimes I am really hungry and sometimes I’m just not really hungry. Today I haven’t eaten anything, but I’m sick and slept until 11:30! I just list what I eat for informational purposes. Don’t try to eat less if your body needs more fuel. It needs what it needs. Give it what it needs! 🙂
Love,
Jamie
I want to enter? Did Miss the part of what I have to do?
Hi! Read today’s post about the Blendtec giveaway. The rules are there. Happy Entering!
PS Feel better soon!!
Thanks so much! I am so wiped out today!
I am wondering how you are managing staying below 20 carbs with the yogurt, berries, onions, seeds, plus cheese and sprouts? Sounds delish though! I haven’t had a hot dog in years…
you are doing wonderfully 🙂
Hi, Victoria! I am sure I went over my 20 yesterday, but I mostly stay well under (I had yogurt that needed to be eaten and organic berries that needed to be used up). So I likely average 20 more than stick to a strict 20.
As an aside, you know what the weirdest thing is? The yogurt + fruit made me less hungry than roasted Brussels Sprouts. I have a bad feeling I might have an intolerance to the BS (Brussels Sprouts)…though everyone should have a general intolerance to BS… Nyuck nyuck.
Sounds like plenty of food to me! And going a bit over 20 is ok. I made raw chocolates yesterday, made a chewy caramel using cream and maple syrup and natvia sugar, definitely went over myself but that is fine.
Hi hi! Yeah, I figure some days are going to be over and some will be under (same as calories, typically). Today is likely going to be an under day. Your chocolates sound pretty yummy.
Jamie,
(I hope I am posting this in the right place!)
I “liked” Blendtec’s Facebook page.
Mmmm…lots of bacony goodness with those meals throughout the day. I’ve been fighting a nasty cold in Korea these days. I hope you get better soon!
I hope you’re feeling better!
