I know it’s too cold outside to think about summer and ice cream, but sometimes it’s fun to spoil yourself a little bit.
Why should your sugar-free lifestyle be without fun?
I present to you… the savory sundae! This is a super savory way to get creamy, but to fill yourself up, too.
PS. So sorry this went out early without the nutritional information and everything. I am having some software issues right now.
I should add that this is a lot of filling food (for me), so I typically enjoy this when I need more than I eat in terms of cottage cheese (like a quick lunch. And then, I usually only eat closer to 3/4 of a cup). You can cut the cottage cheese in half or by 1/4 to save some carbohydrates.
Savory Cottage Cheese Sundae
1 cup cottage cheese (I use 4% small curd)
7 green stuffed olives
2 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp sunflower seeds
Place cottage cheese in a bowl. Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese. Add sunflower seed nuts, and finish with green olives and a cherry tomato!
Super easy, and you’re going to love it!
Makes one serving.

I never would have thought to make a savory sundae. Will have to try this. Thanks for posting!
I hope you like it, miss cutie! Putting it in the sundae cup makes it feel a little more decadent and fun, too.
Have you tried your cottage cheese with a little black pepper. My dad ate it tis way all my life and I swear the pepper makes the cottage cheese taste sweeter!
I love black pepper on cc, especially when it’s milled and just the tiniest bit crunchy. Thank you for the reminder. They’ll look like little sprinkles. I also forgot to add bacon sprinkles.
This sounds awesome with a side of sauce!!
I loving putting cottage cheese in the blender and adding savory or sweet ingredients. It turns out creamy & delicious. I use the savory blend as a creamy veggie dip and the sweet blend as creamy mousse.
What a freaky awesome idea! I never thought to put cottage cheese in the blender. Oh, how you complete me.
Yum, I am a savory gal myself and this sounds fantastic.
I love savory!
