Hello my little princesses with colorful tutus and pointy toes!
First, I want to tell you that I put together the Top 100 Must-Have Ingredients that I keep in my kitchen. Yay!
From pantry to refrigerator to freezer, these are from what I base many of my hundreds of recipes for your families (and for you of course!).
Now what I had yesterday… First of all, here’s the plan I’m following and here is the introduction post to the Mid-Year Resolution Challenge. While you look at what I’m doing, be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled to give some ideas, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). I am, however, here with you to cheer you on when you’re so skinny you will have to watch slipping through the cushions of your couch.
Oh, and those nachos are coming on Monday! Stay tuned!
Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top!
You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for the daily play-by-play and to see what I’m doing. Whee!
Thursday, September 27
I ate this:
Breakfast: Taco meat with guacamole and a bit of shredded cheese + 2 grape tomatoes
Lunch: Black olives
Dinner: Grilled hot dog with cheese, onion, mustard
Exercise: Walked and worked for 1 hour at my treadmill desk at 1 mph.
Notes: I have a super-busy writing schedule today! Eep!
What I learned:
Today I learned to write down what I eat as I eat because I honestly can’t remember what I have eaten today!
That is lame.
Don’t be like me.
Not lame at all. I consider it maximizing brain storage. It’s over. Why should it continue to take up space? That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Many thanks for all your wonderful creations. You’ve really helped this diabetic eat great food (that my family can also enjoy) and stay off the meds with a sense of humor.
Liz, I am so happy to hear I have been helpful. I know it’s because of comments like yours that I love what I do. I get to visit with such neat, wonderful friends–like you.
BTW, I am so so excited you are off of your meds and are hanging in there!
Mary Cheyne says
Can you please post pictures of your treadmill desk?
Absolutely; unfortunately, my husband is too busy to complete the desk, so images I share will be of an incomplete desk.
Nosh-a-titian…Love it! And can’t wait for those nachos. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, you make my every day great!
