Hello, you snowmen and snow angels!
As you melt off that snowpack for the holidays, keep making those small, positive changes for health. It’s never too late to make small changes for big returns.
Here is a picture of the easy minute microwave mini meatballs I made a while back. Now it is so cold, you can stick those cute little panda picks in snowballs.
I am using My Fitness Pal for the next few weeks so that I can write a review, and it’s almost too intuitive. That’s not such a bad thing, I guess, but I am so used to how simple FitDay is, sometimes I want to offer MFP a cup of tea and have her relax by the fire.
I’m also taking a crack at actually recording a cooking video. Unfortunately, I didn’t record the most important third! Being the perfectionist that I am, I am also determined to nail this down, so I appreciate your patience while I do my best to make a great video you’ll enjoy. An update: The video is too dark! I will try again with some better lighting. I am glad to get to try some different things. It’s a fun–sometimes frustrating–process.
Now on to how I’ve been doing with our Mid-Year Challenge… Be sure to do your thing. I am thrilled share my progress and thoughts, but I’m not the person you should necessarily look to for dieting advice (I’m not a paid nosh-a-titian). Be sure to subscribe for updates by adding your email right (in the sidebar) or through Feedburner in the title bar up top. You can also click the tab up top that says Mid-Year Resolution for regular updates.
Wednesday, December 19
I ate this:
Breakfast: Sunflower seeds + black olives + a few nuts
Lunch: Bacon! Woohoo! + New pizza recipe (coming aoon)
Dinner: New sauce with broccoli
Exercise: Goofing with the video camera and trying to make a recipe video…
Notes: I am snacking mostly because I am busy trying a ton of new things for the website. I am not hungry, though, so no worries! I eat when hungry.
What I learned:
I love sniffing vanilla candles! They make me feel so happy. They smell like baking. I come and bask in vanilla when I need a break from the running around.
Love the panda sticks! Too cute! 🙂
Thank you! Those came home on hubby’s last trip from Japan. They are so much fun!
