The new year ushers in resolutions, but even after our resolve has taken a nap, there’s even more of a reason to put a spring in your step for this new year.
We’re all working towards better health in our own way, whether we’re at the gym trying not to sneeze so you won’t fall off of the treadmill (like last time), or making our own laundry soap from natural ingredients (mine smells like lavender). We’re walking more, connecting more, camping more, shopping locally, cooking seasonally, and living a more eco-friendly, Earth-sustaining lifestyle.
I’ve even stopped using standard shampoo and conditioner because I now know (thank you, Yvonne) that I can wash my hair with baking soda and condition it with a vinegar/water spritzer (it’s great on salads, too).
Slow, small changes mean big steps. Over the last months, especially, I’ve been able to simplify my life while increasing the amount of effort I’m putting into wellness.
But if you’re like me, you know taking vitamins is something we should be doing, too. Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to remember to take them. And while consuming a fruit-topped cheesecake (like the one pictured above) sounds appealing, consuming my body weight in carrots, blackberries and proteins isn’t always easy (or practical).
Thankfully, superior health can truly be simple and tasty. VitaMelts™ Vitamins from Nature Made® help make the process of remembering to take your vitamins easier, and makes it more enjoyable, too. These are high- quality, delicious, easy to use supplements from natural sources–just like their standard vitamins. The bonus? No water is needed because these supplements simply melt in your mouth. This makes them perfect, especially for kids who hate the thoughts of chalky chewables or big vitamins that become hard to swallow.
Plus, Nature Made® has a variety of products designed for different purposes:
- Vitamin C – available in Juicy Orange
- Energy – available in Mixed Berry
- Vitamin D – available in Creamy Vanilla
- Sleep – available in Chocolate Mint
- Relax – available in Green Tea Mint
- Zinc – available in Honey Lemon
Melting in your mouth is a fast way to break down your vitamins and digest them rapidly, and because the supplements quickly dissolve on your tongue, you can feel secure knowing that the nutrients will all be absorbed. The small, portable package also means you can take them anytime, anywhere.
While these supplements aren’t sugar-free, they’re a great way of ensuring kids are taking those vitamins–especially when they typically refuse to take them.
Note I said painlessly… unlike the last time I fell off of the exercise bike.
Nature Made® VitaMelts™ are a new “one of a kind”, enjoyable way to take your vitamins because they melt in your mouth and taste great. Discover how new Nature Made® VitaMelts™ can transform your vitamin taking experience by making it enjoyable. Visit us at NatureMade.com/VitaMelts to learn more.

I missed that post ! how do you shampoo using baking soda please?
Hi, Lee! I will write a post about it this week. I’ve been changing a lot of things.
I am going to look for those vitamins! I’m following Dr. Rob Thompson’s Glycemic Load Diabetes Solution, and a (very) small amount of sugar is ok. I doubt those vitamins have very much.
Great website. Thanks!
Sheryl
I just started using baking soda on my hair too or “no-poo”.
