Gluten free pizza crust recipe |
Absolutely fabulous
Greetings! Last week was teh suck, so I took a couple of days off to roll into a fetal ball and suck my thumb for a while. Thankfully a friend called and we talked for over two hours! I love you, K! Now we want to run away together and start a low carb bakery. Who’s in?
You know, I’ve come to realize how hard it is to keep a gluten free n00b family on track. This especially since yesterday was such a stinker of a day. I was so unmotivated to make dinner I caught myself wanting to cook a pot of Dreamfields pasta and call it a day.
I was tired. Hubby was tired. We were all worn from work. And then my son said, “Let’s have cheeseburgers!”
And we all cheered, “hooray!”
And then we all let our fists go slack as one of us said, “But… buns.”
And we all went, “Oh… yeah.”
And the son yelled, “Let’s go bun free!”
And we all cheered, “hooray!”
So there was a kid acting the problem solver when my head was done in.
Gluten/Wheat free ongoing
Yes, the excitement of going gluten free has continued! We have been wheat/gluten free as a family (barring a couple of mishaps) since Monday, January 10. On Saturday, January 22 we will introduce wheat back into everyone’s diet for a day and see how people react. (While the full two weeks would have been preferable, I didn’t want to create gluten zombies on a school day.)
