One of the recipes I plan to bring soon, just as soon as I locate the recipe that I wrote down and then lost. Greek frittata.
Four Five quickies for my lovies:
Those pesky political ads
I swear on my momma’s grave that I have no control over the political ads showing up on the site. I received a comment tonight from someone who thinks I don’t like Mitt Romney. Whether it’s for butt pimple cream, pizzas or political candidates, I have no say. As a matter of fact, I am seeing the same ads everywhere on the ‘net, so I know it’s an issue that expands beyond this site.
I do not make partisan political comments or statements on this site and will continue to not do that.
This site is about food and support and not punching people in their hooters over political differences.
Update: The political ads seem to appear randomly in between ads for migraine medicine and cat litter. It’s funny, if you’re me.
No pictures! Ermagerd!
I realized (to my horror) that the new site (which rocks, by the way) didn’t transport the”featured images” to posts. That means that while all of the recipes have featured images, you can’t see any of them because I have to manually input the images into every recipe. I am about half way through now. Thanks so much for your patience and for calling my attention to this. I so appreciate you writing to let me know when you notice things like this. We need pictures!
As an aside, I am reformulating some old favorites and am taking new pictures, so stay tuned!
Update: As of 10:10 MST on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, the pictures should all be back. I was so excited, I went and bought a ham. More on this later…

In addition to cranking out some new, fun favorites, I am collaborating with a friend who says she would love to keep her recipes here for safe-keeping. Prepare yourself for amazingness.
More on that coming soon! You’ll be happy.
Update: Ham! Be back soon…

Did you know that when you subscribe to this site you have the ability to determine how you want to receive email notifications? When you receive an email from this site, simply click the link at the bottom of the email to change your preferences. I usually receive mail as a “daily digest” so that they all come at one time.
I am here to help, so let me know if there’s anything I can do to help make your corner of the fabulous universe that little bit better.
Update: There isn’t one. I just like balance…
You’re amazing! I love all your recipes! Thanks so much 🙂
I love you, too! Thanks for your kind words.
While you are coming up with all these new ideas if you can figure out how to low carb the age old banana flip that would be even more amazing awesomeness. :0)
Michelle– What is a banana flip? You must tell me! I might have an idea depending on what it is.
WOW a lot of very hard work for you to do just for us! thank you so much for all you do and I so LOVE the new website. It’s so easy to look up dessert for me when I so NEED dessert. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words, LynnMArie. Frankly, I am glad I can be of help! Now that I have a fully functional site, I look forward to bringing more recipes to families and spending less time hunting down images.
Thank you, Jamie, for all your work for us. I love the new look of the site, BTW.
Kitty litter, migraine meds, and political ads all cycling–that’s too funny!
Right? Those ads are making me laugh right now because they’e so silly. I just feel bad that someone out there thinks I hate political candidates! I look at it this way; if you like a candidate and see him smeared, be happy knowing the other campaign had to pay a lot of money for that to happen. Net ads aren’t cheap.
Just download Ad-block Plus. It’s free, safe and it works. No more unwanted ads anywhere. Really.
That’s what I love about food – it doesn’t matter what your political/religious agenda is, The biggest controversy foodies debate is miracle whip vs. mayo. (A topic over which people argue with such fervency I think it could rival any political debate!) I don’t care who you like just keep makin’ that D-E-licious food!
Oh my goodness! There’s a debate. Maybe we need some political debates over things like mayo versus Miracle Whip. We could have bread states versus chew states. Get it? Ha ha ha! I am too caffeinated…
I love your site. Everyone is getting the ads now so don’t worry. . Thanks for all your research.
Thanks for your support. I have a nw recipe coming tomorrow that I can’t wait to share!
I’ve said it over and over, Jamie, but it’s still true. Not only are you amazing, you’re just the best ~ or as the song goes ~ ‘simply the best.’ Thanks so much for all of your hard work and for all that you do. I feel honored to know you!! XO
I feel very happy and honored to be known by you, Connie. Thanks so much for your patience while the site has made changes over the last year–all for the better.
