I have had the distinct privilege of working with Glen from LC Foods Corporation for a few years now.
Focusing on quality, diabetic friendly, low carbohydrate foods, I’ve reviewed a lot of his products and keep a few as staples in my pantry as well. Now with a new factory, he’s ramping up production on even more terrific low carb staples!
From their thickening agent that has (thankfully) replaced the now defunct ThickenThin/Not Starch, to the breading/crusting mix I use for meatballs and tilapia, there are some sensational staples I couldn’t do as easily without.
Here are just a few of the many amazing LC Foods products I have tried:
LC Foods Gluten Free Muffin Mix,
LC Foods Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix,
Vanilla Ice Cream (pictured, made into Klondike type bars)
Cauliflower Mashed Fauxtatoes
And since Glen, himself, is an adherent to the ketogenic lifestyle, you can be sure he has sustainability of the lifestyle in mind, as well as his own healthy. Combine the two and you have LC Foods.
Now LC Foods is helping me celebrate my 5th Year of sharing the joy of health with $100 in products to share with one lucky reader!
The rules are easy peasy, because you have much kitchen shenanigans to do.

Thanks so much for the sweepstakes opportunity! Regardless of whether or not I win, I’ll definitely be shopping at your site in the future! I cannot believe that I didn’t know about you guys! Cheers!
Errr, this is slightly embarrassing…I just realized that this was “Your Lighter Side” and that I hadn’t been linked to a separate blog for LC foods. Sometimes I can be soooo obtuse. My wee little brain does the best it can running furiously inside it’s wee little hamster ball. My bad. >_<
Thanks for the sweeps opportunity! Congratulations on 5 years! Sorry about that! =^p
I would purchase all their gluten free items!! That would give me great GF mixes to have on hand to share with my family and several food allergy friends.
Congrats Jamie and thanks so much for your site. I do not comment a lot on there but I read everything several times a day. It has been such a help to me for staying on this way of eating. I have been eating low carb for about 7 months now to control my diabetes. I have had to pass on a lot of recipes because I can not find the ingredients in town and I am too afraid to order things when I may not like them. This would be a great chance for me to sample many items and find out how they taste. So if I had $100 to spend at LC Foods this would be the first order (and hopefully not the last ).
