A mouthful to say and pretty ding danged fricken awesome, it’s simple and quick. It’s not only more filling than Lisa Rinna’s lip collagen injections, it’s zippy. It’s zesty. It’s so spicy, you’ll think Antonio Banderas blessed it himself. And at only 7 net carbs, you’re going to find excuses to make this at least once a week. Don’t feel guilty. It’s good stuff.
No, she’s not gluten free and not Atkins induction friendly, but sometimes you have to live dangerously for a few carbs (so long as you’re not celiac or have a gluten aversion). For the majority of Low Carbers out there, this is an excellent meal, even when served at room temperature.
I paired this with three ripe, fresh strawberries on the side to cool down that heat action and a glass of cold, blueberry iced tea.
Zesty Reuben Wrap Melt
Flat-Out wrap
4-6 thin slices Pastrami (I used Hillshire Farm Ultra Thin)
2 thin slices Provolone (I used Sargento sliced)
1/4 cup Sauerkraut (I used Vlasic jarred)
2 Tbsp Spicy mayonnaise (I used Kraft RealMayo, Hot & Spicy)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place wrap on ungreased cookie sheet. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise completely across the wrap. Top with a layer of pastrami, then provolone, and then spread the sauerkraut across the top. Roll carefully and place seam side down. Bake for 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
